Wolfgang Van Halen joins us to talk all about his new album: Mammoth – The End.
In this conversation, WVH opens up about the creative process behind the album, sharing how a panic attack during Metallica shows and wildfires near his home shaped its doomsday-inspired lyrics. ~
He also talks about collaborating with director Robert Rodriguez for the music video ‘The End’, drawing influences from From Dusk Till Dawn and featuring epic cameos such as Danny Trejo, Slash, Myles Kennedy and more. Although he sadly had to pull out of Back To The Beginning, touring with Creed ended up being one of 2025’s biggest rock tours, boasting 130 sold-out shows, and Wolfgang reflects on carving his own path as an artist while honouring his father, Eddie Van Halen.
Despite the weight of his legacy, Wolfgang’s focus remains clear: creating music that resonates authentically. From the playful “All In Good Time” to the heavy “Better Off,” The End showcases Mammoth’s growth as an artist in his own right.
