Black Stone Cherry frontman Chris Robertson speaks to us about AI, their new EP Celebrate, and the battle to preserve grassroots venues.

In this interview, Chris talks about why they decided to release a seven-track EP rather than a full album and how the current rate of music consumption has altered how rock musicians are approaching writing and releasing music.

Chris also chats about the expanding problems surrounding AI in creativity and explains how technology can be helpful for daily tasks or inspiration, but he contends that it can never fully replace the emotional bond that is formed when actual musicians perform live. He still believes that music’s human component cannot be replaced.
