Dews is hearing voices again. The same voice that’s spoken to him for many years now, a voice that is ever-present, will not be quiet, and wants him to do something again and again. No matter how many times he carries out the instructions, the voice is never satisfied. It’s his own fault though. He wanted a cat, now he’s got to feed it.
