While She Sleeps frontman Loz Taylor has addressed the long-standing issues he’s had with his vocal health over the years. Posting on his Instagram, he stated:
Today I had an endoscopy 😤 I’ve had two in the past couple of weeks to see how my voice / larynx is holding up after a solid year of touring.
I think as I’ve had 3 surgery’s in the past there will always be the fear that Something is wrong if I feel fatigued or like I’m not sounding my best, Over the years it’s been an ongoing battle with technique, acid reflux, and live performance, I was always under the impression that if I wasn’t killing myself on then i wasn’t doing enough..
It’s taken me years to grown out of old habits, learn better techniques, gain knowledge & live a cleaner lifestyle to be able to do what I love the most.
I can say that the tests have shown that I’m in good vocal health and the past few years the things I have learnt are coming into play more and more towards a positive future for me as a singer.
Thank you to all @whileshesleeps fans for never giving up on me , and thanks to my family , friends and band mates for always being patient and understanding through the hard times, the next chapter is looking brighter than ever, watch this space!!

While She Sleeps latest album Sleep Society saw the band embark on a new chapter of their life as While She Sleeps, with the band creating a subscription service (powered by Patreon) to gain access to exclusive perks and received insight, and even input, into the recording process of the album.
Our goal is to create a sustainable model for artists and creatives, to break from the traditional industry mould by building and developing a true interdependence between the band and fans.
With the monthly support of our fans, the band will be able to break free from the traditional music industry method of ‘cash advances’, where artists are essentially borrowing large sums of money and giving up the rights to their songs, only to spend the years that follow in debt which oftentimes becomes insurmountable and crippling.
The Sleeps Society ensures a solid future for WSS and creates a new model of survival for artists and bands alike. We will be delivering the highest level of fan involvement and fostering a symbiotic relationship as the Sleeps Society becomes an integral part of Sleeps’ existence.
