Welsh metal outfit BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE have unveiled a new music video for “No More Tears To Cry” taken from their self-titled album released earlier this year.
A deluxe version of the record dropped on November 11 including four new tracks and “Stitches” previously only available for Japanese fans. The band has now unveiled an official music video for “No More Tears To Cry” which you can view below.
Speaking about No More Tears To Cry, the band stated:
The song is a dark but colourful story about dealing with mental health struggles. Musically the track is very different from the other tracks on the album and has a lot of surprises on there, including slide guitar…
Frontman Matt Tuck spoke to Rock earlier this year about the self-titled album and said:
I wanted an intro for the record. It’s always good to set up. The first track, especially a song like Parasite, it’s so ferocious and fierce. You can’t just open the album with it. It just would just be too much of a sledgehammer with the face.
I just came up with this idea to have all these moments from the past, which kind of led up to today really and being a self-titled record, I just thought it was a really good way to kind of honour the past, but almost put a full stop after it and start again. I think that’s what this album represented. It’s a new Bullet. It’s a hungry, motivated, angry Bullet, just like we were back in the day and it feels like we’re reborn almost, so it’s good, man. So that’s what it’s about.
It’s a vibe, it took a bit of putting together and it sounds nice and slick on the record. It took me and Carl producer quite a while to put that together. But it’s a good vibe. It sets it up great. It’s a nice wink to the past and then it’s a kind of a big middle finger to the past when Parasite comes too.
