Rising UK metallers, Defects will be celebrating the release of their debut album  “Modern Error” with headline shows in London, Birmingham, and Manchester (Dates below).

“Modern Error ” is set to be released on May 24 through Mascot Records, with singles and music videos for tracks such as “Broken Bloodlines,” “Lockdown,” and “Modern Error” being released in the lead-up to the album.

Modern Error To Be Unveiled with Headline Shows

Following an extensive European tour with Orbit Culture last month and a series of performances alongside Of Mice & Men at the end of 2023, the band has quickly gained momentum in the metal scene. Guitarist Luke Genders expressed excitement about the upcoming headline shows, stating:

Primordial Radio is hugely excited to announce that the unique and ever-evolving London 2-piece BOB VYLAN is set to headline the main event of the Primordial General Mayhem on Saturday 27^th April 2024, with four-piece, loud, unapologetic, rock outfit from Nottingham, AS DECEMBER FALLS confirmed as main support.

Also confirmed for the Saturday event is BLACKGOLD, SAINT AGNES, CALVA LOUISE and NORTH ATLAS with the opening band to be decided by the listeners of Primordial Radio.

“We can’t wait to play these headline shows supporting our Album release. Our last headline outing was a great time, and we aim to top that this time. We’re hot off the tails of 2 UK and EU tours with Of Mice and Men and Orbit Culture, and with those shows being sold out before our announcement, this is the perfect time for our fans to see us. It will be our longest set to date with a couple of surprises and exclusive merchandise only available at these shows.”

The album “Modern Error” is described as a raw and emotionally potent work, reflecting on themes of mental health, overcoming adversity, and personal trauma.

The band is comprised of Tony Maue (Vocals), Luke Genders (Guitar), James Threadwell (Guitar), David Silver (Bass), and Harry Jennings (Drums).

To celebrate the release of “Modern Error,” drummer Harry Jennings will be hosting a special radio show exclusively on Primordial Radio on the album’s launch day.
