Rock legends AC/DC are set to electrify London’s iconic Wembley Stadium with two major concerts this summer, marking their long-awaited return to the UK stage. These performances, scheduled for Wednesday, 3rd July and Sunday, 7th July 2024, are a part of the band’s extensive European tour, aptly named The Power Up Tour, after their 2020 chart-topping album ‘PWR UP’.
The tour promises a thrilling journey through Europe, with AC/DC playing in Germany, Italy, Spain, The Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, England, Slovakia, Belgium, France, and Ireland. The grand finale is set to take place at Dublin’s Croke Park on Saturday, 17th August.
AC/DC Return To The UK
Fans can look forward to seeing AC/DC’s classic line-up, featuring Angus Young on lead guitar, Brian Johnson as the vocalist, and Stevie Young on rhythm guitar. They will be joined by Matt Laug on drums and Chris Chaney handling the bass. Notably, Cliff Williams, who briefly returned from retirement for a performance last October, will not be part of this European tour.
The upcoming Wembley gigs are particularly significant as they mark AC/DC’s first UK performances since their Rock or Bust World Tour, which included memorable shows at Manchester Etihad Stadium and London Stadium over eight years ago.
Primordial General Mayhem
Primordial Radio is hugely excited to announce the return of the Primordial General Mayhem 2024 with dynamic and hard-hitting five-piece retro-rockers THE TREATMENT headlining the Friday night.
Fresh from their massively successful tour with Buckcherry, they are set to deliver an electrifying performance with one of their biggest-ever headline shows to date. Joining them are the Brighton-based punk-rock aficionados THE BAR STOOL PREACHERS, alongside energetic South Wales rockers JAMES & THE COLD GUN and hard rock sensations FURY, who made a remarkable impression last year by drawing an overwhelming crowd to the festival’s smaller stage.

The band’s journey saw a notable change when vocalist Axl Rose of Guns N’ Roses stepped in during the summer of 2016, as Brian Johnson faced health issues. However, Johnson’s collaboration with audio expert Stephen Ambrose led to the development of a special in-ear monitor, allowing him to return to live performances. His comeback was marked by several short appearances and culminated in a full concert with AC/DC at the Power Trip festival last October.
AC/DC’s recent performance at the Power Trip megafestival in Indio, California, was a showcase of their timeless appeal, featuring a 24-song hit-packed setlist. The concert was notable for the live debut of ‘Demon Fire’ and ‘Shot in the Dark’ from their ‘Power Up’ album, and the revival of ‘Riff Raff’, a track performed with Axl Rose but never before with Johnson.
The band’s choice to open with ‘If You Want Blood (You’ve Got It)’ followed by ‘Back in Black’ was a historic first, adding to the excitement and uniqueness of their performance.
