UK Metallers Architects have released a new single entitled ‘a new moral low ground’ from their forthcoming album ‘the classic symptoms of a broken spirit’ which will be out via Epitaph Records on October 21st, 2022.

the classic symptoms of a broken spirit is the follow-up to last year’s UK number 1 album For Those That Wish To Exist. Produced by Dan Searle and Josh Middleton, with additional production from Sam Carter at Deacon’s Middle Farm Studios and their own HQ, Electric Studios in Brighton.

Whilst the new single has been met with a positive reaction from fans, sadly one person decided to direct a homophobic slur towards frontman Sam Carter and also did so invoking the late Tom Searle.

Posting on Twitter, Carter stated:

The metal community has rallied around Carter after the disgusting comment.

We stand in complete solidarity with Sam Carter and the LGBTQ+ community, if you are facing issues of homophobia, please visit our resources section to find the right help and services you may need.
