Bam Margera, known for his role in the “Jackass” series, has pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct related to a family altercation at his home last year. The 44-year-old is set to serve six months on probation.

The incident involved charges of assaulting his brother, Jess Margera, and threatening other family members during a two-week stay at his home near Philadelphia. Jess reportedly suffered a ruptured eardrum from the altercation. State police filed the charges on April 24, 2023.

During a court hearing last year, Jess described his brother as “a good dude when he’s not messed up.” He also mentioned that Bam had “exhibited troubling behaviour for two decades and, while home, had been awake for days”

According to The Independent, Bam Margera pleaded guilty to two summary offences and has since remained clean and sober. He informed the judge that he was undergoing drug and alcohol treatment.

Judge William J. Brennan commented on Wednesday, June 26th

“You can really say he won his case before today just by turning his life around.”

In December, Margera celebrated 100 days of sobriety with the support of actor Mark Wahlberg. He shared a video message with Wahlberg, stating:

“What up Mark, it’s Bam Margera here with Dannii, 120 days sober – rock and roll!”

Wahlberg responded:

“Thank you so much for the video bro. I’m so happy for you and your sobriety. 120 days, wow, God bless you bro, hope you and your family are well.”
