The Big Bang is BACK! Last hosted in September 2019, Primordial Radio is very excited to be bringing back the Big Bang to the OGRI MCC Clubhouse on Friday 16th and Saturday 17th September 2022.
In the same vein as the biking world, the Big Bang isn’t just about the music, it’s the active community behind the station that makes it unique.
A sort of birthday/good excuse for everyone to get together for a few beers and catch up after everything that’s happened over the past few years. Organised by Mark Manby and hosted by OGRI MCC, everyone is welcome to pop along, have a drink, watch some bands, and sit around the bonfire till the wee small hours…
Plenty of space for camping, caravans, campervans, yurts or even tents!

Yes, the event is proceeding as planned.
Is the event indoors or outdoors?
Both! This is a hybrid event with outdoor camping and an indoor clubhouse. Previous Big Bang podcasts and info is here
Are there bands playing?
Yes! We will be announcing details on this soon.

Can I park next to my tent?
Yes.
Campsite Facilities available
There is a large field for camping with toilet blocks and drinking water available in the clubhouse.
Can I bring my campervan/caravan?
Yes, both are welcome.
What happens if we are not camping?
You are welcome to attend for the day or the weekend and stay in local hotel accommodation.
Can I pay for my ticket when I arrive?
If there are any tickets left, yes you can pay upon arrival.
What food vendors do you have?
There will be a caterer on site –
Breakfasts 9-11 Saturday & Sunday.
Burgers ‘n’ bits as normal with a curry/chilli option in the evening. Serving till 22:00.
If you are veggie/vegan can you drop [email protected] a message by 10am Friday at the latest, so we can let the caterers know a rough idea of numbers please.
Can we make our own fire pit?
There are to be no open fires or fire pits as per the venue’s regulations, but we will have our very own roaring bonfire to enjoy.
BBQ’s/Cooking
Only Gas or Solid Fuel (hex block style) cooking equipment please (No petrol, charcoal, wood, disposable BBQ)
Can we bring our own food and drink?
You are welcome to bring your own supplies, especially if you have specific dietary requirements but we just ask that you keep them to your camping area and respect the event and vendors there.
Can I bring glass bottles?
Strictly no glass bottles.
How do we pay for food/drink/merch?
It is worth making sure you have sufficient cash with you (nearest cashpoints are Cirencester/Tetbury) for your drinking, eating and OGRI merch purchases. OGRI MCC do not have card facilities on site
Age Restrictions/Valid ID
There is no age restriction for the weekend but all children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. The bars will run the Challenge 25 Policy so if you are wanting to purchase alcohol, please make sure you have a valid photo ID with you. The licensing accounts for the entire venue so if anyone is found underage drinking anywhere on site then they may be asked to leave.
Are pets allowed?
No pets are allowed, except for guide dogs however this is an active airfield. Please contact [email protected] with any questions
