Primordial Radio is excited to announce that Evil Scarecrow will be premiering their brand new single “The Future Machine” on the station, Monday 11th August at 9:15am with Full Metal Hackett. This will be the first chance for fans to hear the latest single from their upcoming album Silicon Tea, set for release in October 2025. The band will also be launching a Kickstarter campaign soon to bring the album to physical formats.
Evil Scarecrow Unleash “The Future Machine”
A neon-soaked, tongue-in-cheek love letter to the 80s, “The Future Machine” is a time warp of dystopian nostalgia, packed with synthy flourishes, hair-metal swagger, and Evil Scarecrow’s trademark wit. Frontman Dr. Hell sums it up in his own way:
In today’s crazy world, we thought it was time to answer the biggest question of all — which was the best decade? Obviously, it was the 80s. So we jumped on the ‘Stranger Things’ bandwagon, cranked up the nostalgia, and threw in some robots for good measure. If you love 80s rock, lame movie references, and robots (again), this song will make you horny like an 80s teenager watching Weird Science. But hopefully less inappropriate.
Bassist Kraven Morrdeth keeps his contribution short but perfectly on-brand:
I f**kin’ love movies.

A Cult Live Phenomenon
For those unfamiliar, Evil Scarecrow are more than a metal band — they’re a travelling carnival of surrealist rock theatre. Their live shows have grown from chaotic pub gigs to dominating the main stage at Bloodstock Festival, with their mix of ‘Blue Peter’-style props, choreographed crowd participation, and sheer unpredictability. From HRH Road Trip in Ibiza to Wacken Open Air in Germany, they’ve built a cult following who turn up armed with cardboard robots, foam crabs, and anything else that might join the onstage madness.
Their performances have been hailed by Metal Hammer as “strangely emotional, much-needed catharsis,” while Kerrang! memorably described them as “Blue Peter-Metallers” with world domination just a sticky-backed plastic sheet away.
