Primordial Radio is excited to announce that High Parasite, the new UK outfit, spearheaded by Aaron Stainthorpe of My Dying Bride, is set to take part in the Radio Residency for the month of October.
The Radio Residency is hosted by Adam Whalley and is a series of four exclusive shows that air every Wednesday at 10am (BST). Across the Residency, Aaron discusses his new band High Parasite, the evolution of music technology, and the importance of supporting underground bands. Aaron will also touch upon The discussion also touches upon on the uncertainty of retirement in music, the impact of iconic bands, and the importance of supporting both established and emerging artists.
High Parasite’s debut album Forever We Burn, is out worldwide today via Candlelight / Spinefarm.

Forever We Burn includes 10 new tracks, produced by Gregor Mackintosh (Paradise Lost), who also contributes guitar work. As a whole, it explores darker themes within the human experience and introduces High Parasite, a new band featuring a familiar voice.
The band’s name, High Parasite, reflects a critical view of humanity’s impact on the planet. The vocals are provided by Aaron Stainthorpe, best known for his role in My Dying Bride, a key figure in the doom metal scene for over three decades. While Aaron’s established reputation may draw initial attention, the project is also driven by bassist, vocalist, and songwriter Tombs, who plays an important role in shaping High Parasite’s musical direction.
High Parasite will be performing at major venues across the UK and Ireland in October and November, supporting Cradle Of Filth. The schedule includes a Halloween performance at London’s O2 Forum Kentish Town on 31st October. Below is the full list of tour dates.
