Speaking about celebrating 10 years of Arctangent Festival for 2024, James Scarlett states…
It’s our 10th anniversary, so it felt right to acknowledge the past. We brought back some favorites from previous years, like In Soul Watch From Afar, Three Trapped Tigers, and Brontide. Three Trapped Tigers are doing their farewell shows, and Brontide is reuniting for a one-off performance.
These bands all played in 2013, our first year. It felt like a nod to the past, but I also wanted it to be exciting with plenty of new things we’ve never had before. One band we’ve chased for 10 years is Mogwai. We’ve tried to book them for a decade, and we finally managed to make it happen in this final year. The lineup feels like a greatest hits of ArcTanGent, plus all the things we could never get until now.
