Lorna Shore have released Unbreakable, the second song from their new album I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me (Out September 12th via Century Media) and the follow-up to the first single “Oblivion”.
Vocalist Will Ramos framed the track as “a very triumphant, all-inclusive song… a beautiful moment where people can realise that no matter what this world throws at us, it will never break us down.”
A Resilient Anthem
“Unbreakable” is Lorna Shore trimming the fat and shooting for sheer scale. Early drafts were torn up until the quartet struck a sub-six-minute balance of orchestral swells, black-metal tremolo and a rare major-key chorus aimed at festival fields, not club ceilings.
If Pain Remains mourned personal loss, the new record scans the horizon for species-level collapse. May’s lead single “Oblivion” set that tone – oceans blackened, forests aflame – but “Unbreakable,” two tracks later, flips the lens. Where “Oblivion” asks what have we done?, “Unbreakable” answers… we survive anyway, positioning resilience as the concept behind the album.
Speaking about Unbreakable, frontman Will Ramos says
Writing this one was definitely one of the trickiest songs ever, for me. We wanted to write a song that would sound and feel absolutely huge. I wanted something that made people feel good when listening or singing it; essentially a song that you can hear on your worst day, and somehow feel like that day was a breeze. This was one of the first songs I got to work on, and it ended up being the last one I finished. We are so used to putting a lot of notes together to make our songs sound right.
The issue was that this song was one where everyone had to pull-back a bit and look at everything in the grander scheme; we didn’t want to throw a million notes on the board, we wanted only the ones that felt… right. This song quickly became anthemic for us, and one of our favorites by the time the process was over. ‘Unbreakable‘ is a very triumphant, all-inclusive song written to bring people together for a beautiful moment where they can realize that no matter what this world throws at us- it will never break us down. We and our bonds are unbreakable.

Lorna Shore Unbreakable Lyrics In Full
From Whence We Came A Tremor
The Quake That Never Ceased
The Earth Was Turning Too Quietly Beneath Gravity
I Feel You Weigh Me Down Deeper Into The Ground
And After It All
Our Hearts Are Invincible
Like Diamonds We Glow
We Are Unbreakable
Through Ice And Cold
Fire And Brimstone
And Now We Know
We Are Unbreakable
We Grow From The Depths We Will Ascend
We Know We Are Unbreakable
From Whence We Came A Burden
A Curse We Only Breathe
We Made Our Bed In The Embers That We Leave Burning
Behind The Earth We Glow
We Are Unbreakable
Through Ice And Cold
Fire And Brimstone
And Now We Know
We Are Unbreakable
We Grow From The Depths We Will Ascend
We Know We Are Unbreakable
I Won’t Let You Take This Away From Us
I Won’t Let You Fall
We Are Unbreakable Rage
We Raze The Earth Towards The Skyline
I Can See It Now We Are Free
And After It All
Our Hearts Are Invincible
Like Diamonds We Glow
We Are Unbreakable
Through Ice And Cold
Fire And Brimstone
And Now We Know
We Are Unbreakable
We Grow From The Depths We Will Ascend
We Know We Are Unbreakable
Through Fire And Brimstone
We Are Unbreakable
From Cataclysm to Catharsis
“Unbreakable” isn’t naïve optimism; it’s hard-won defiance from a band that’s watched careers implode, tours disintegrate and still clawed higher. It plants a flag midway through Everblack – a brief shaft of light before the record dives back into the void – and reminds us that even amid ice, fire and brimstone, some hearts glow like diamonds.
Whether the planet heeds Lorna Shore’s warning is another story, but as Ramos growls in the song’s dying seconds, the band’s verdict is final: we are unbreakable.
