Metal For Good has announced the launch of the Metal Collective, a new membership club aimed at engaging supporters in shaping the future of the metal music community.
By joining the Metal Collective as a member for a monthly fee of £5.00 or £60.00 a year, participants become part of Metal For Good and contribute to future projects the organisation supports. After three months, or immediately upon annual payment, members gain full access to exclusive perks, including a Metal Collective patch or pin badge, and special discounts, giveaways, and offers from partners.
Metal For Good To Support Community Music Projects
Members of the Metal Collective will also have a say in how funding is distributed to community projects that leverage music to effect positive change. Metal For Good aims to include as many diverse and passionate voices from the rock community as possible in this decision-making process.
Applications are now open for community organizations and charities to apply for up to £3,000 in funding for music-related projects. The application deadline is August 22nd. Successful projects will be shortlisted in September, and the final funding decisions will be made by Metal Collective members through a voting process in September and October.
Funding will be distributed as follows:
1 project will receive £3,000
2 projects will receive £2,000 each
3 projects will receive £1,000 each
Supporters are encouraged to share this opportunity with potential beneficiaries.

Opportunities To Win Festival Tickets
Metal For Good is offering a raffle for two-weekend tickets to Steelhouse Festival, generously donated by festival Directors Mikey Evans and Max Rhead. The raffle winners will receive arena access for two people and guest bar wristbands, which are not available to general ticket holders. Winners will need to arrange their own accommodation and travel, with camping and campervan upgrades available through the festival website.
Steelhouse Festival, recognized as the UK’s highest music festival, will take place at Hafod-y-Dafal Farm on the southern edge of the Brecon Beacons, South Wales. The festival aims to provide an affordable rock music experience for families and friends, and has developed a dedicated following over the years. This year’s lineup includes Skindred, The Almighty, Accept, Mr Big, Living Colour, among others. Raffle tickets are priced at £2 and can be purchased here.
In addition, Metal For Good is preparing for the upcoming 2000trees Festival, set to take place in 10 days at Upcote Farm near Cheltenham. This year’s festival features performances by The Gaslight Anthem, Manchester Orchestra, Bob Vylan, Creeper, and Frank Turner, among many other acts. Metal For Good will be present in the main arena, offering merchandise, pre-loved and vintage alternative clothing, and the opportunity to sign up for the Metal Collective.
Tickets for 2000trees are nearly sold out, but a £50 discount on weekend tickets is still available by purchasing here or using the code METALFORGOOD at checkout.
