Change is the only constant and here at Primordial Radio, we have continued our evolution with a new schedule, presenters and ways to listen.
We’re delighted to announce the addition of new presenters Cat Wright (Thursdays 18:00 – 20:00 & Sundays 14:00 – 16:00) and Ben Zagorski (Sundays 12:00 – 14:00) with Cornwall’s finest Full Metal Hackett taking over the reins of the breakfast show (Mon – Thur 06:00 – 10:00).
Program Director, Dewsbury states:
We’ve said for years that all the skills, talent and knowledge we could ever need is contained within the rock and metal community, so it’s only appropriate that Cat and Ben should join the team after being part of the Primordial community for so long.
We’re made-up to welcome them to the team, and I’m looking forward to hearing more of their distinct voices on-air.
On Full Metal Hackett taking over breakfast:
It’s the most bizarre thing, but as long as you take his “Hackett-ness” into account, he’s actually one of the most-fun presenters – and one of the most reliable people – I’ve ever known! Just don’t tell him I said that.
In addition, the Radio Residency which features a special guest hosting four exclusive shows is now hosted Adam Whalley (Saturdays from 12:00), this month’s guest is Cage Fight who will be touring the UK in early December and Primordial Presents with Pete Bailey moves to Fridays at 18:00 to tie in with release day.
Claire Flavin (FlavTag) also moves to Fridays at 17:00 for the Bangers show and Luke Milne will now host Sunday mornings (09:00 – 12:00)
