One of the largest metal music festivals in Europe, Hellfest celebrated its return to two weekends and seven days of performances after pandemic-related cancellations.

Headliners GUNS N’ ROSES, METALLICA, JUDAS PRIEST, DEFTONES , GHOST and KORN thrilled thousands with their iconic sound.

In 2023 festival goers can expect an even bigger lineup as it expands into a four-day event featuring over 200 bands on six stages – giving attendees access to some of the best metal bands around.

In 2019, Hellfest hosted an astonishing 180,000 people and featured a dynamic lineup of predominantly international acts. An immersive experience was offered in the form of ‘Hell City Square’, which boasted partner booths alongside exhibitors and a huge metal market steeped with sci-fi-inspired decor! Over 20% of attendees were from abroad too – showing just how much this event has grown over time.
