Earlier tonight (February 7th) Skindred took home the Best Alternative Music Act award at the MOBOs. The competition was tough in the 2024 category, but they emerged victorious against ALT BLK ERA, Arlo Parks, Deijuvhs, Kid Bookie, and Young Fathers.
Skindred Win Mobo Award
This win is well-deserved, especially after their eventful 2023, which included a chart battle for their eighth album, Smile. Kid Bookie, one of their competitors, also acknowledged their achievement on X/Twitter, stating, “Skindred deserve this. 23 years in the game, I got a lot to do before that.”
Primordial General Mayhem
Primordial Radio is hugely excited to announce that the unique and ever-evolving London 2-piece BOB VYLAN is set to headline the main event of the Primordial General Mayhem on Saturday 27th April 2024, with four-piece, loud, unapologetic, rock outfit from Nottingham, AS DECEMBER FALLS confirmed as main support.
Also confirmed for the Saturday event is BLACKGOLD, SAINT AGNES, CALVA LOUISE and NORTH ATLAS with the opening band to be decided by the listeners of Primordial Radio.

In a few months, Skindred will continue their celebrations with a series of UK arena shows, including their biggest-ever headline show at London’s OVO Arena Wembley.
