Tenacious D released their last studio album ‘Post-Apocalypto’ in 2018, which featured Dave Grohl amongst other guest performers. There’s currently no update on new music.

In June of this year, Tenacious D premiered a video for a medley of tracks by The Who – ‘Pinball Wizard’, ‘There’s a Doctor’ and ‘Go to the Mirror’. The medley was directed and created by The D’s old friend, frequent collaborator, and fellow Who fan Liam Lynch, who directed the band’s 2006 film The Pick Of Destiny.
