Trivium bassist Paolo Gregoletto has posted a video on his Instagram asking for support to help his father-in-law Tom Luczak who sadly had a hemorrhagic stroke.
His family have opened up a GoFundMe which you can find here.

Speaking in the video (As Transcribed by Primordial Radio), Paolo states:
So two weeks ago, my father in law, Tom Luczak, had a hemorrhagic stroke. It was completely out of the blue. He had to be life flighted down from Iron Mountain up in Wisconsin down to Green Bay to a specialty hospital. They did miraculous work, but he was in the ICU for about a week, and now he’s moved to a rehab facility in the hospital, and he’s going to be undergoing care for Months and months.
We have really no idea. he’s doing much better quicker than they had anticipated. But as many of you know here in the States, when something like this happens, no matter how hardworking you’ve been, it can be like the reverse of winning the lottery. It’s a incredible financial shock. We don’t know where it’s going to end up because the care is ongoing and it has to be.
But in Tom’s case, he was a Chicago firefighter for many years. He was a union carpenter in both Green Bay and Chicago for many years. probably three, four times the amount of time he was a Chicago firefighter. He was a guy that did everything right, has worked hard, has saved many people as a firefighter and, in a sort of cruel irony of life, retired last year.

He was very into, all types of rock and metal, all types of music, jazz music, and his passion for that stuff transferred to his kids. And, that’s the kind of guy that Tom is again, a hard worker, incredible person, metalhead, rock fan for life. My hope is that, when we start touring again next year, when we come around where he lives, that he will be good enough to come back to a show, go back to concerts, doing what he loves, being with his family.
So I’m asking help from all of you guys to, if you can financially help, if you could chip in, that would be great. If not, and I know, you’re asked a lot in your lives from people all the time in your families come first, always, if you can share this, if you can give any sort of time to this and spread the word, it would be greatly appreciated to me and to my wife Bianca’s family and to Tom who is recovering right now.
