You may have noticed that we have recently reduced the new songs list and the Up-Vote chart from 40 songs to 20. This has been done in order to streamline the new-music-addition process, and help ensure the quality – rather than quantity – of new music on the station. We have also scrapped the ABC song categories, with all the new music now going into one category. This one larger category will rotate at approximately the same rate as the three smaller categories did, meaning that over a typical 5-6 week chart run, a given track should receive around the same number of plays as previously. Spot plays will typically receive 2-3 plays per week during daytimes.
