SEPULTURA frontman Derrick Green speaks to Primordial Radio presenter Phill Thorne as part of the Up-Vote Top 100 where Sepultura came in at No.86 with their single Mask (Ft Devin Townsend)
Last year during quarantine Brazillian metal heavyweights Sepultura were doing a weekly live stream & podcast, ‘Sepulquarta’, where they welcomed all sorts of experts and music industry heads on as guests for talks and jam sessions. In each episode, they played one song from their own catalogue together with the guest they had on each show – including the likes of Devin Townsend, Phil Campbell, Matt Heafy, David Ellefson and many more.
These live jam sessions were so well-received that the band have decided to release the tracks as a live album! ‘Sepulquarta’ will be released on 13th August, and the band recently kicked things off when they unveiled first single ‘Mask’, featuring the crazy professor of metal Devin Townsend where joins the Brazillians with a unique vocal and guitar performance right from his home in Canada.
Devin Townsend will be performing a very special intimate acoustic set as part of the Primordial General Mayhem, tickets are on sale now.
