Primordial Radio is proud to announce that Finnish Love Metal pioneer, Ville Valo (VV) will be taking part in the next Primordial Radio Residency.

Hosted by presenter Adam Whalley, the Radio Residency will air every Wednesday with Ville Valo joining Adam Whalley playing tracks from his new album Neon Noir alongside some of his all-time favourite songs.

Belonging to the same forlorn world of woe and whimsy once conceived and governed by Valo in HIM, VV arrives with additional nuanced notes of a fine-aged Cabernet.

Ville adds:

It’s a sonic step-by-step guide on how to survive, and perhaps even enjoy, the realm of VV with its abundance of things that go bump in the night,” says Valo. It’s a teary mascara marathon between Robert Smith and Ozzy, with a dash of hope.

Artistically speaking the main difference between HIM and VV is the extra line in the Heartagram, but what an exquisite line it is!

It’s the Mamas and the Papas dressed up as Metallica on their way to a Halloween bash at the Studio 54, and now who wouldn’t want to witness that?

VV’s debut solo album Neon Noir is due for release on 13th January 2023 via Heartagram Records, distributed by UMG/Spinefarm.

Fans will be able to see VV live at a number of headline tour dates coming next year across Europe, the UK and North America.

Starting off in Helsinki before heading across Europe and the UK with final stops over in North America in April.
