After a year of legal proceedings, Esmé Bianco and Brian Warner – the musician more famously known as Marilyn Manson – have come to an out-of-court settlement for her sexual assault lawsuit.
Both parties remain tight-lipped about specifics, but In a brief statement given to Rolling Stone Magazine, Bianco’s lawyer, Jay Ellwanger, states
Ms. Bianco has agreed to resolve her claims against Brian Warner and Marilyn Manson Records, Inc. in order to move on with her life and career.
Hollywood star, Esmé Bianco, originally accused Manson of multiple acts of physical and sexual abuse. This follows a judge’s decision to dismiss another separate allegation by Ashley Morgan Smithline for failing to appoint new legal representation in the case – although Miss Smithline can still choose to refile should she find suitable counsel.
With at least eleven women accusing him of mistreatment, news of Marilyn Manson’s alleged abuse shocked many. Former assistant Ashley Walters spoke out claiming he subjected her to sexual exploitation and psychological trauma while actor Evan Rachel Wood publicly shared his long-term grooming behaviours when she was a teenager. To spread awareness of domestic violence rights, they co-created The Phoenix Act which provides support for survivors everywhere.
Manson also faces another legal battle with an ex-girlfriend who remains anonymous under “Jane Doe”. He’s also taking action against Wood for alleged defamation and online impersonation causing emotional distress.
