Mental Health Update: Time to Talk Day

Roll call… As you know mental health is one of Primordial Radio’s six pillars and although we talk about mental health all year around we would very much like the Fam to join us for this year’s Time to Talk Day on Thursday 4 February.

Time to Talk Day, run annually by Time to Change, is the day chosen to get the nation talking about mental health. While this year’s event will obviously be a bit different, open conversations about mental health are more important than ever, given the challenging times we find ourselves in.

This year’s theme is The Power of Small. A small conversation about mental health has the power to make a big difference.

As Time to Change say,

“We know that the more conversations we have, the more myths we can bust and barriers we can break down, helping to end the isolation, shame and worthlessness that too many of us with mental health problems are made to feel.”

Please support Primordial Radio and Time to Change in starting the conversation this Time to Talk Day – let’s take the opportunity this year, together, to end mental health stigma.
You can do this with your family, friends, in your local community, or within your workplace.

One thing we are so proud of here with the #PRFam is how everyone looks out for each other but sometimes it can be hard to know what to say when you are worried about someone. This is especially true when we cannot get together so we have pulled together our top tips to help start those conversations.
